At the turn of the century, blank pieces were decorated by amateur artists. This T&V Limoges serving plate is delightful and unique. Produced between in the late 1800s and early 1900s, these blanks were the canvas which allowed the artists to create beautiful one-of-a-kind floral settings and although sometimes similar in theme and color, no two were exactly the same. This example is quite vivid with beautiful deep pink roses.
This plate is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, restoration, wear, or repairs. There are some minor scratches near one handle and it is to be noted that there is a light green color to the back rim of the plate as shown. Please examine the photographs carefully as they are part of our description and supersede any written word.
