Shown here is a fine example of the Trillium pattern on a Montrose-shaped cup by Royal Albert. The white trillium is the floral emblem of the Province of Ontario. The white trillium can be found in deciduous forests and woodlands of the province in late April and early May. This pattern was released by Royal Albert in 1975.
This teacup and saucer are in very good vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, hairlines, scratches, fading, paint strikes, restoration, wear, or repairs. As shown in the close-up photographs, there are some areas of the pattern where it has begun to crackle. The items we sell are not new, they are vintage and have lived previous lives. As such, be aware that minor imperfections and flaws may exist. We endeavor to describe any and all anomalies, if any, that are present. Please examine the condition as the photographs are an integral part of our description and supersede any written word. Photographs have been taken using natural light but slight color variations due to processing may be possible.
APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS: Cup-3 inches (7.6 cm) in diameter (does not include handle) by 3 inches (7.6 cm) high. The saucer measures 5.5 inches (14 cm )in diameter.
