Inspired by the beautiful pink Mayflowers that grow in Nova Scotia, Royal Albert released this trio as part of a set of 12 Canadian provincial emblems in 1975. The Mayflower has been the province’s floral emblem since 1901 and creates a stunning pairing with the intense black background of the teacup.
This teacup and saucer are in very good vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks, crazing, hairlines, scratches, fading, paint strikes, restoration, or repairs. There is one area of wear as shown in the close-up photographs. The items we sell are not new, they are vintage and have lived previous lives. As such, be aware that minor imperfections and flaws may exist. We endeavor to describe any and all anomalies, if any, that are present. Please examine the condition as the photographs are an integral part of our description and supersede any written word. Photographs have been taken using artificial light therefore slight color variations due to processing may be possible.
APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS: Cup-3 inches (7.6 cm) in diameter (does not include handle) by 3 inches (7.6 cm) high. The saucer measures 5.5 inches (14 cm) in diameter. The salad plate measures 8 inches (20.32 cm).
