Aynsley Teacup and Saucer Set With Yellow Primrose Flowers, English Bone China Tea Cup And Saucer, After Tea Party, ca. 1934-1939
This set is over 70 years old and in excellent vintage condition. There is little wear to the gild. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Both pieces ring nicely and there is no wear.
The Aynsley brand was established by John Aynsley in 1775 in a small pottery in Lane End, later known as Longton, in Staffordshire.
APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS : Cup-3 3/8 inches in diameter (does not include handle) by 2 1/2 inches high. Saucer measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter.
